  27. I think someone just recently asked that.  Here's a wuick overview:

  29. - Go to Polygon selection mode (instead of Point or volume)
  30.  
  31. - hit "w" (or Display menu, Stats)
  32.  
  33. - Select the surface you went in the pop-up menu at the bottom of the 
  34.   requester
  35.  
  36. - hit the "+" next to the words "With Surface", just above the pop-up menu.
  37.  
  38. The requester goes away, and all polys in the current layer with that 
  39. surface gets selected.  Hope this helps...
